Aroma of sugar candy that opens to give notes of jam and tropical fruit; tingling acidity of sweet green apple that caresses with a syrupy body. Aftertaste is shimmering clean, sweet, red grape and milk chocolate that finishes with lingering all butter toffee. Located in the region of Mococa near the southern border of Sul de Minas, Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza is the farm of the Croce family. The farm had been producing coffee since 1850, and owned by the Baretto family since the early 1900s. Since 2002, Silvia Baretto and her husband Marcos Croce have transitioned their farm towards ‘more than organic’ so coffee trees grow naturally without pruning or artificial inputs.
